Image & Icon downloader is designed to do its work entirely on your device.

What the extension does

When you click the extension's toolbar icon on a web page, it scans that single page for image assets, shows them in the popup, and lets you download the ones you choose. That is the full extent of its operation.

Data collection

The extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• It has no servers and makes no analytics, telemetry, or tracking requests.
• It does not read or store your browsing history.
• Page scanning happens locally in your browser and only on the active tab, only when you invoke the extension.
• Image data is processed in memory to render previews and to save files you request. Nothing is sent anywhere except the browser's own download mechanism, which saves files to your computer.

Permissions

• activeTab / scripting — used only to scan the page you are viewing when you click the icon, in order to find its images.
• downloads — used to save the images you choose to your device.

The extension requests no broad host permissions and runs no code on pages you have not explicitly opened it on.
